Kick Kick Snare’s January 2012 Mixtape

What better way to round out the holiday season and kick off the new year than to launch Kick Kick Snare’s first mixtape of 2012. Yes, it’s that bloody good time of the month. And just because I said that with a British accent doesn’t mean we’re crass or putting on airs…for it really is an awesome time for me every month to see the handpicked collection of songs selected by our four writers in four different cities. I always love seeing the variety between Kent, Wes, Ed and me. For the five months or so we’ve been posting mixtapes, not once have we even encountered a duplicate, yet our disparate selections always seem to mix smoothly and inseparably together, thankyouverymuch. So if I find our collections every month to be a highlight of my music going experiences, I know our readers do, too. A bloody good time it is, and without further ado, KKS’s first mixtape of the year.
