Ace Hood featuring Rick Ross, Wale, DJ Khaled & Chris Brown “Body 2 Body (Remix)” Posted: 20 Nov 2011 06:06 PM PST 2011 has been the biggest year yet for Miami rapper Ace Hood, mostly thanks to him paying attention to, and then proceeding to check off the boxes for, what works in the now-era hip hop game. Enlisting Lex Luger for the booming street corner anthem/ Blood, Sweat & Tears jump-off “Hustle Hard”, then employing Rick Ross and Lil’ Wayne on the official remix, was his first two smart career moves made this year; then he steered his attention to a more mainstream light with third single “Body 2 Body”, the obligatory Chris Brown assist/ R&B ladies jam that seemingly every major rapper has had tucked into their respective full lengths in the past twelve months. Now the time has come for “B2B” to get it’s own posse cut-styled makeover, rounding up the ubiquitous Ross, Wale and DJ Khaled to basically see which one of the rappers involved can gift J.U.S.T.I.C.E League‘s silky ’80′s-indebted soul beat with the most pimp-mackiest banter. So what are some of things we learn this time around about some of our favorite artists? Ace’s money is so right he basically has a “house on [his] pinky”, and thinks that being “kinky as hell” means doing it in the lobby; Rick Ross doesn’t appreciate seeing women stuck with lame dudes who can’t afford to buy them pricey hand-bags and assures anyone concerned over his recent health scares he doesn’t plan on going anywhere soon (read: he’ll continue to be on everyone and their mama’s remix for the foreseeable future); Wale needs to teach a class on How To Successfully Spit Game (“If Heaven had a height/ Then you would be that tall…”); and DJ Khaled’s vocal presence on wax remains A: annoying, and B: highly unnecessary (the “Maybach Music”-purring robo-anony-lady, on the other hand, is forever welcome). “Body 2 Body (Remix)” featuring Rick Ross, Wale, Chris Brown & DJ Khaled (DL): Download audio file (Ace-Hood-Body-2-Body-Remix-feat.-Rick-Ross-Wale-Chris-Brown-DJ-Khaled.mp3) This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now
