With already 20,000 plays in less than a day, the challenge seems to be a success. This new version of “Something About Us” definitely brings a fresh feel to this track most of us have been brought up with. Yesterday, he posted his official remix of Lady Gaga's track "Marry The Night," which will be released on Gaga's forthcoming Marry The Night single package. He’s given a chill song a bit of weight and grit. The vocals and quick 160 bpm tempo remain but added dubstep and drum and bass elements were given to increase the aggression and intensity to the level judgment day deserves. | Posted: 12 Nov 2011 01:31 PM PST The weekend is here and there is nothing better than discovering that new danceable-rock track to bounce to, because we’ve got one for you! I found this track via one of my top 3 music blogs out there: mySpoonful, and I’ve been trying to come up with the perfect “these bands = this artist” type of statement for Rey Pila, with limited results, only because I keep coming back to The Scissor Sisters and Wavves. I know, you may not agree with me too strongly, you may flat out disagree, but lets think about it. Vocals, danceable, attitude, I hear the Sisters, check out a few of his other tracks, along with his twitter photo (apparently god listens to slayer as well), and I’m thinkin Wavves…Anyway, I thought I would share this musical conundrum with you folks.
