As I settle into LA again, acquiring a desk, an office chair, and most importantly, a new iPhone, it’s essential to listen to Silverclub’s “No Application” on repeat. Not only does the grooved up electro beat make for supreme driving-to-pick-up-Craigslisted-furniture music, but the chorus of “there aint no application on your laptop that’s gonna give you soul” will hopefully keep me from getting lost in free-app-download hell.

Manchester’s Silverclub just released their second EP, to which “No Application” is the title track.

I first heard of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs way back when he originally came out with his remix to Wolf Gang’s “The King and All of His Men” and I’ve been waiting for something to rival that tune ever since.  It looks like T.E.E.D. has finally done it.
