Bob Sinclar and Sophie Ellis-Bextor Team Up to “Fuck With You”

Nope, this ain’t Princess RiRi‘s new single: “Fuck With You” is the newly surfaced collaboration between French House DJ Bob Sinclar and UK disco chanteuse Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

While I’d never expected to hear the straitlaced dance floor diva getting as frisky as she does on top of Sinclar’s funky guitar strums and pulsing disco beats (“Take me on a trip around the moon/I want to fuck with you,” she dreamily croons across the chorus), it mostly works–even though there’s something a bit off about hearing the icy-voiced “Murder On The Dancefloor” chanteuse lovingly singing “fuck” on repeat. It just feels…I don’t know. Wrong.

Prim and proper pop star gone potty mouth aside, the true drawback of this production? An entirely unnecessary rap two-thirds into the song: “I’mma fuck you then fuck your friend,” the mystery man offers. A kind gesture, but…well, you’re making things even more awkward for everyone. It’s just too much. IS JUST TOO MACH!!!

According to the video’s description (and my dicey Google Translate skills), “Fuck With You” is the lead single from Sinclar’s upcoming album Disco Crash, due out in January of 2012.

Disco Crash will be released in January of 2012. (iTunes)

britneysweetdreams Daily B: The Sweet Dreams Circus Tour Interlude Finally Leaks

THIS IS TRULY THE GREATEST DAY OF ALL DAYS EVER.

As every good Brit Brit stan knows, the “Sweet Dreams” interlude from The Circus Tour: Starring Britney Spears is literally one of the best things ever in history.

I mean…hello: It’s Britney (bitch), looking fucking flawless as fuck, flipping her hair and serving smoldering eyes while getting it on in a masquerade smut-a-thon as Marilyn Manson‘s cover of The Eurythmics‘ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)” loudly howls in the background. It’s absolutely EVERYTHING.

And now, we finally have it in full, glorious high quality.

If there was ever a modern equivalent to Madonna‘s Sex (AKA “Erotica”), this is that moment–without question. EDIT: OKAY, SO THAT WAS A BIT MUCH. But it’s still very Sex-lite!

ENJOY.

Daily B: A Snippet of Britney’s “Look Who’s Talking” Demo Leaks

God, I love it when two of my loves come together!

“Look Who’s Talking” is one of the tracks on K-Pop Queen BoA‘s 2009 self-titled debut English album. But as we knew from the album’s liner notes, the song was originally co-scribed by the Living Legend, the sensual seductress, the enchanting mistress: Miss Britney Spears.

According to BMI, “Look Who’s Talking” was originally recorded and registered by The Holy Spearit, Bloodshy & Avant and Michelle Bell.

Together, Bell and Brit Brit crafted several tracks for the ever-mysterious Original Doll sessions in 2005, right in between In The Zone and Blackout, including “Like I’m Fallin’” (BMI) and “Ouch” (BMI).

Now, a 30-second snippet of Britney’s original demo has leaked.

Look Who’s Talking Snippet by eyelovelefteye

How’s it sound? Good obviously–it features Godney’s flawless vocals! The song’s sort of like a pre-”Piece Of Me” taunt (a lil’ bit of “Rebellion” if you will), so it wouldn’t really suit Britney at this stage in her life. BUT…it’s a fun treat to hear nonetheless!

To celebrate this mash-up of BoA/Britney goodness, let us now remember the moment when the two met in person while Britney was promoting In The Zone in South Korea. My favorite moment? Probably when Britney figures out what to do with the hand muff BoA gifts her at around the 1:15 mark and the audience literally FREAKS THE FUCK OUT.

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Slayed back then, still slayed now. So cute/amazing/everything!

MuuMuse Approved: Little Boots – “Shake”

Little Boots Image Lo Res MuuMuse Approved: Little Boots Shake

It’s been just over two years since BBC Sound of 2009 winner Little Boots, née Victoria Hesketh, unleashed Hands.

The stunning dance-pop debut (read the MuuMuse review now!) resulted in several gems, including the hypnotizing “Stuck On Repeat” and the RedOne-produced “Remedy” a storming pop tune which recalled all the best bits of Fame-era Gaga. Now, Boots returns with the lead single from her forthcoming sophomore studio album: “Stuck,” released today in the UK.

The song was crafted in just one day with James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco, responsible for production on such gems as PeachesI Feel Cream (including the brilliant “Lose You”) and Beth Ditto‘s stunning 2011 eponymous solo EP.

From the press release:

"The song came in the latter stages of writing the new album,” Boots explains. “James and I had been emailing, and unusually both had a free day. It was one of those that just came out. Immediately it felt right. It also shed a new light on a lot of the other songs I’d been working on for the album.

“Everybody shake ’til your heart breaks,” Boots croons on top of early ’90′s House pulsations (Inner City comes to mind) and an ever-so-slight Italo-disco crispness, recalling all the reasons I fell in Boots with “Stuck On Repeat” in the first place: Haunting vocals and timeless disco beats.

“I love the statement shake ’till your heart breaks: it’s that violent kind of romance that runs through some of my favourite songs,” she says of the song in the press release.

I’m utterly obsessed. If “Shake” is an early indication, Little Boots ain’t suffering from a sophomore slump anytime soon.

Little Boots – SHAKE by LittleBoots

Along with its digital release, “Shake” will be available as a limited edition vinyl. The song has also received the full remix treatment, including upcoming re-rubs by Azari & III and Crazy P.

“Shake” was released on November 14. (iTunes)

Flaw-Free Nicola Roberts to Release Flaw-Free “Yo-Yo” as Third Single from Cinderella’s Eyes

Yo Yo Flaw Free Nicola Roberts to Release Flaw Free Yo Yo as Third Single from Cinderellas Eyes

Team Ginge–rejoice!

UK Pop Princess Nicola Roberts will return on January 2 with “Yo-Yo,” the third single from her debut record, Cinderella’s Eyes–and easily one of the best tracks off the album. (Read the MuuMuse review now!)

From the official press release:

The single was written by Nicola with Dimitri Tikovoi. 'Yo-Yo' marries classic pop lyrics ("don't want to be the last to know, will it be a yes or a no?") to a post-Dalston Ronettes vibe and a pulsing, demented electro breakdown.

"The song is about being in that position with a guy when you really don't know whether you're coming or going," explains Nicola. "Being in that position can make you really vulnerable. It's the dark, desperate and doubtful side of love."

Fabulous news! With its gorgeous melodies and that oh-so-lush icy disco middle eight (“And I can’t let go-o-o!”), “Yo-Yo” is one Roberts’ finest solo moments yet. Let’s hope for big chart numbers to follow!

And now, let us all enjoy Nicola’s completely flaw-free performance of the song for MSN UK. Truly stunning!

Cinderella’s Eyes was released on September 23. (iTunes UK)
