Listen to the Deluxe Edition Snippets from Rihanna’s ‘Talk That Talk’

Rihanna‘s Talk That Talk? 10 days away. My body? ready.

After the delicious 30-second samples of the standard 11-track album arrived yesterday, the bonus/deluxe edition clips for “Red Lipstick”, “Do Ya Thing” and “Fool In Love” have now surfaced.

“Do Ya Thing” sounds good so far, but “Fool In Love” sounds absolutely GORGEOUS. That chilly electronica? Those major soaring vocals? It’s like Loud‘s “Complicated”! I CAN’T HARDLY WAIT.

But that’s not what we actually need to talk about right now. What we need to talk about is “Red Lipstick,” the much-much-much anticipated track featuring the Chase & Status-produced beat originally created for Rated R called “Saxon.” Actually–wait. There’s nothing to talk about, because one line talks that TALK all on its own:

Let me grab my dick while you sit on top.

Watch Kelly Clarkson Deliver A Life Slaying Performance of Carrie Underwood’s “I Know You Won’t ” for VH1 Unplugged

STOP LIFE.

Flaw-free chanteuse Kelly Clarkson, Goddess of Everything, is set to appear on an upcoming episode of VH1′s Unplugged, which premieres online at VH1.com on November 17.

During the 5-song acoustic set, Clarkson performed a cover of Carrie Underwood‘s Carnival Ride track, “I Know You Won’t,” which you can now watch in full above.

You know how everyone likes to bitch about the lack of ‘real’ singers and how nothing’s ‘real’ anymore and all this fuckery about Auto-Tune and cheapness and the lack of depth and the general death of the music industry?

THIS.

Haunting. Gorgeous. Devastating. Everything. I kept tearing up, and that’s all you really need to know.

Thanks to Muuser Keith E. for the find!

Stronger was released on October 24. (iTunes)

matt irwin kylie Kylie Minogue to Release New Orchestral Album in 2012

Just can’t beat the feeling of a new Kylie album on the way!

Yesterday, the fierce ‘n’ flawless disco diva took part in EMI’s New Music Sessions, a special showcase for her label held at the legendary Abbey Road studios in London, where she performed “On A Night Like This” and “All The Lovers” with a 22-piece (!) orchestra. God, I wish I was there!

Along with the performance, Mizz Minogue revealed the reason behind all those mysterious tweets and TwitPics over the past few weeks: She’s recorded a new record! Well, not entirely new.

The upcoming collection will celebrate Minogue’s 25 years in the music industry, beginning with the release of her first iconic hit, “Locomotion.”

From Metro:

I’ve been at Abbey Road for about two weeks in total,’ she said.

‘Not just for this, I’ve been working on a project for next year. Next year’s my 25th anniversary so we’ve been recording acoustic and orchestral versions of a number of my hits.

But this isn’t the first time we’ve heard this news: During an acoustic performance for BBC’s Radio 2 back in 2010, Minogue revealed that she was planning to craft an acoustic/orchestral album. Looks like the job’s now done!

Still no word on when the new album’s being released. For a taste of what’s to come, let’s watch Kylie’s orchestral performance of “Confide In Me” from the 2010 Radio 2 show. Stunning!
