SOFI – Bring Out the Devil (feat. Skrillex & Kill the Noise) (Original Mix) Posted: 07 Dec 2011 12:47 AM PST So here is the complete story about this track many other blogs did not get right: Mau5trap’s recording artist Sofi (most known for her vocals on deadmau5′s ‘Sofi Needs a Ladder’) did a collaborative track with Skrillex about a year back for her new single “Bring Out the Devil. However, much to everyone’s surprise, Skrillex had his hard drive stolen a few months back and you can assure pretty much everything hit the Internet instantly, she explains to MTV News:
As a true dubstep hero, Kill the Noise come aboard giving this leaked track a much needed facelift. It is actually quite refreshing that this happend because the track just sounds completely mental now. Everything happens for a reason right? “Bring Out the Devil” was released independantly included in Part 2 of Sofi‘s Locked and Loaded EP. Sofi – Feat. New! Miike Snow – Devil’s Work Posted: 06 Dec 2011 01:40 PM PST NEW MIIKE SNOW! It has been way too long since we last heard anything from the Swedish indie pop that took everyone by storm back in 2009 with their debut self title album Miike Snow. Singles like “Animal” and “Silvia” set the trio apart for their mastery in composing extremely catching harmonic tunes. Today they shed some light in what we can expect early 2012. Still with an untitled album, they have released a brand new track which they self-recorded and self-produced in their studio in Stockholm, Sweden. “Devil’s Work” feels much like their previous work with hypnotic vocals, haunting vocals all around an uplifting atmosphere of strings. |
Posted: 06 Dec 2011 12:50 PM PST The first time we saw J Flash was in Boulder Colorado, at the Wolfgang Gartner show. He was opening for Wolfgang that night, in front of his home crowd at the Boulder theater. After throwing down a hard, energetic set, we were pretty stoked on finding some of his tunes for a post. Unfortunately, sometimes in the music blogging game, you get caught up in everything and some things slip through the cracks. So in an effort to pull this back up through the cracks, we’re posting two of our favorite J Flash songs. The first track, Don’t Stop Calling, is a mashup between Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin” and Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso’s “Calling”. The second track is an original from J Flash that is currently available for a free download at Global Dance Music. It’s got a big room feel to it with some nice dirty dutch synth. Dada Life – Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker Posted: 06 Dec 2011 09:22 AM PST Another electro triumph for the beloved duo Dada Life.
