NO, BUT ACTUALLY HOLD THE PHONE AND DROP YOUR BABY RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

FIRST OF ALL: Rihanna JUST announced on Twitter this evening that she’ll be Ri-leasing the Dr. Luke-produced “You Da One” on Friday, which will then hit on iTunes on Sunday night. Um, fuck YES! Flawless single cover is flawless.

Now then–let’s get down to bidness.

Beginning this week, Team RiRi has begun the listening sessions for Ri’s upcoming sixth studio album, Talk That Talk.

Tonight, VH1 published an album preview that, well…I’ve literally been shaking and crying all night.

While you really ought to read the review in full, I’ve pulled some of the major factoids and delicious quotes from the article for your reference. Oh, and in places where I physically could not even (which is often), I’ve responded via .GIF.

So. Yes. WHERE TO BEGIN?! Oh, right. How about the title of the article itself?

Rihanna's Talk That Talk Is The Dirtiest Pop Record Since Madonna's Erotica.

Actually, scratch that. Rihanna's new record, Talk That Talk, is the dirtiest "pop" record we have ever heard.

Talk That Talk continues the conversation that Rihanna began with her single "S&M" (off Loud) and, if you'll pardon the Spinal Tap reference, turns it up to 11. Rihanna and her chief partner-in-crime, songwriter Ester Dean (who either wrote or co-wrote at least five songs on the LP), have put together a record that not only oozes sex, but also revolves almost exclusively around it.

The Bangladesh-produced banger, which sounds like a vintage-era Neptunes jam, begins with Rihanna telling her lover that "I want you to be my sex slave" and contains the refrain "I love it when you eat it."

wuhv9k A GIF by GIF Reaction to VH1s Album Preview of Rihannas Talk That Talk

It doesn't stop there; in perhaps the album's most memorable line, Rihanna demands her subject to "Suck my cockiness / Lick my persuasion."

Okay, wait. Stop. Do you know what else Bangladesh has produced? Ke$ha‘s “Sleazy.” Beyonce‘s “Diva.” Kelis‘ “Bossy.” Do you understand the enormity of this situation? Do you? Like, DO YOU?

And "Drunk On Love"? Oh boy, this one is going to please Williamsburg hipsters to their core. It's built on a foundation of The XX's "Intro," which gives it instant indie cred, but Stargate smartly takes Jamie XX's melody line and transforms the beat into something so massive that your iPod earbuds are almost guaranteed to explode.

OKAY WAIT NOW STOP ONCE AGAIN: Do you know what “Intro” is? Do you? It’s my FAVORITE FUCKING SONG on The XX‘s entire debut album. It’s absolutely everything. I listen to it all the time–the melody is just so absolutely GORGEOUS and so, so haunting! Let us listen together now, shall we?

"Where Have You Been," which was written by Top 40 formula crackers Dr. Luke and Ester Dean and produced by the hit maker du jour Calvin Harris, will almost certainly be Rihanna's biggest club smash since "Don't Stop The Music." The chorus features a sweeping, trance-ish transition that will bowl over dancefloor denizens in clubs all over the world, and the bass in the song is so monstrous (in a good way!) that it will make you want to trade in your factory-installed car speakers for a top-of-the-line sound system.

It's not a concept record, per se, but the thematic consistency of this album's lyrical content—shout out to Ester Dean, a true freak if we've ever heard one!— and the epic soundscapes that Stargate, Calvin Harris and crew have created make this, from start to finish, the most aurally satisfying record of the six full-length albums she has released.

I CAN’T. I’M NOT EVEN READY. HOW CAN I POSSIBLY BE READY?

And now, the full album credits, which are just…

2. "Where Have You Been?" (produced by Calvin Harris, written by Dr. Luke & Ester Dean)
3. "We Found Love" (produced by Calvin Harris)

dvd official Daily B: The Femme Fatale Tour DVD Cover is Embarrassing For Everyone, So Heres Some Way Better Fan Made Covers To Enjoy

Today, Britney.com unveiled the official cover for Britney‘s upcoming Femme Fatale Tour DVD.

It’s disgustingly awful. Insanely terrible. Unbelievably atrocious. Objectively garbage. Just so, so thoroughly lazy. The photo isn’t even centered properly! She’s Britney FUCKING Spears, and this MS Paint job slapped together after a 3-day binge of Adderall and Red Bull is the best thing you could come up with? Really? Oh. Okay, great. Perfect. Cool.

Well, since this isn’t the best anyone can do, and since Goddess Courtney Stodden‘s dog Bazaar could have barfed up something prettier than this, I’ve selected a few fan-made versions that are miles better. WAY BETTER! Amazing, actually.

Use them for your iTunes library, or just print it out and tape it directly over that heinous cover. Whatever works for you!

See? Making good out of a negative situation! Now let’s check out a few amazing designs…

MuuMuse Approved: Neon Hitch – “Poisoned With Love”

Neon+Hitch+png9 MuuMuse Approved: Neon Hitch Poisoned With Love

She’s already been a “Silly Girl” and woofed around with a “Bad Dog”. Now, the fiery UK gypsy-pop princess Neon Hitch has been “Poisoned With Love”!

Hitch’s brand new Greg Kurstin (Sia, Lily Allen)-produced jam, featured on this month’s NOW 40, is a gorgeous, dazzling and ever-so-slightly twisted mid-tempo–sort of like taking a lil’ trip on a demented carousel ride.

Kicking off with a twinkling electronic effect (reminiscent of Zelda’s Lullaby from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, just in case you were wondering why I’m still single), the song quickly gives way to an ever-so-creepy organ, as Neon dives dizzyingly deeper into her own delusions: “You say that I need help, and I do/Do-o-o-o!” Neon half-yodels, half-croons above the waltzing beat.

“Oh, I’m poisoned with love/But I can’t get enough/So I keep walking on broken glass for you,” Hitch wildly yelps during the song’s magnificent, whirling chorus. Yo Neon: Y U SO CRAZY THO?

A Disney-approved fairytale romance? Err, no. Not quite. Step off, Snow White–Neon Hitch is here.

Madonna’s Manager Guy Oseary Answers Questions Following “Give Me All Your Love” Demo Leak

madonna met ball 2011 02 Madonnas Manager Guy Oseary Answers Questions Following Give Me All Your Love Demo Leak

After the demo for “Give Me All Your Love,” Madonna‘s rumored lead single from her upcoming twelfth studio album, leaked yesterday, Madonna‘s manager Guy Oseary took to Twitter today–first to rant a bit about the leak–and then to answer some questions from fans.

From his Twitter:

The plan was for new music to come out in the new year… and yet someone leaked a demo version of a song yesterday..Im very happy with the positive reaction to the demo, but we are very upset with whoever leaked the song!!!!!!!! we are asking that the fans please help us police any more leaks.. we have a lot in store for you.. but please respect the process..madonna told me this morning “my true fans wouldn’t do this”… whoever is responsible for this leak, we ask that you please stop!..

Afterward, Oseary cleared up a few details–though mostly remaining pretty vague:

+ Confirmed the album is not finished (but will be within the next month, as producer William Orbit also confirmed earlier).
+ Confirmed that the tracks floating around called “Dirty Liar” and “Love On Fire” are not Madonna demos.
+ Confirmed a “beautiful ballad” was written for Madge’s new movie, W.E.
+ Confirmed photos for the campaign have not yet been shot.
+ Confirmed that M will be appearing at the Smirnoff dance-off this Saturday at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC.

So now we know: “Give Me All Your Love” leaked way, way early. But is it still going to be the first single? Judging by the fact that it’s already out, it seems unlikely that they’d go forward with this single almost four months later…that is, if it was even meant to be a single at all.

All shall soon be revealed… Tick tock, tick tock!

Madonna’s twelfth studio album will be released in Spring of 2012. (iTunes)
