I lived a life of seclusion folded up and boxed in with a bunch of clones in a factory. Slowly I saw shirts around me forced to become Nickelback fans or promotional items for Viagra thus solidifying their existence as purely a “sleep shirts.” I must have been some stellar cotton in another life because i was hand-picked to represent Kick Kick Snare. [EXCLUSIVE] Drake: Crew Love (The Soundmen ReFix) Posted: 15 Dec 2011 09:00 AM PST The Soundmen really have created a refix and not just a remix of the original ‘Crew Love.’ They build off the gorgeously soft balance and layering between The Weeknds beautiful, light falsetto and the tracks minimalist instrumentals and percussion. They infuse the track with a more dynamic sound. Fill it with hitting percussive beats, bright synths that play off The Weeknd‘s light falsetto tones and pump in a funky dance beat that will force hips to gravitate to each other and to move in gyrating motions. Taylor Berrett seems to have snuck in and created ‘Anchor Chasing’ just for me. ‘Anchor Chasing’ is a beautiful showcase of writing talent that far exceeds Taylor’s youth and is equally matched by a voice that surrounds and engulfs you with the story it tells. No gimmicks, no messy over-production to get in the way, just beautiful, heartfelt music.
