[Indie] Trujillo – Distance (The C90s Remix) Posted: 05 Dec 2011 03:42 PM PST The thing that I liked most about the C90s was on their facebook page, under the biography section. It simply says, “buddies making music”. The end result of London based friends Danny & Jamie is dancy-indie-disco fun. Both of the tracks we’ve included have a similar sound to them. The C90s have a knack for creating fun disco/indiepop sounds that at times remind me of Friendly Fires, or Hot chip. The first of the two is a remix of Trujillo’s song, “Distance”. They took what had a shoegaze feel to it, and turned it into a happier upbeat disco tune. The other track, which was released a few days ago is a remix of the Penelope’s song, “Now Now Now”. [Mashup] Mashup-Germany – Top of the Pops 2011 Posted: 05 Dec 2011 12:45 PM PST You know us by now. We rarely post pop songs, unless they’re in the form of a mash-up or remix. Well, that’s the case here. Mash-up artist Mashup-Germany has produced this nice little track that highlights some of the top songs of 2011. What we liked about this was the inclusion of some electronica, including one of our favorite tracks from this year, “Levels” by Avicii. Here’s a few others that were included this track.
