[Indie] Jónsi – Ævin Endar Posted: 07 Dec 2011 02:10 PM PST The incredibly talented musician (and member of Sigur Rós) Jónsi has been working on the soundtrack to ‘We Bought A Zoo’, a film starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson which is set be released in 2012. ‘Ævin Endar’ is his one of his contributions to the OST, and is a deeply majestic yet sweet track which entrances the listener with its slow and gentle vocals. Die Antwoord – Fok Julle Naaiers (ill.Gates Remix) Posted: 07 Dec 2011 10:12 AM PST ill.Gates, the Toronto-born San Francisco-based producer who recently collaborated with Bassnectar on his new album Divergent Spectrum just dropped what we are calling one of the grittiest Die Antwoord remixes ever created. Back in the beginning of November, Die Antwoord put up a video for their new single, 'Fok Julle Naaiers', a track which translates as ‘Fuck You All’. Die Antwoord parted ways with their previous label Interscope claiming that Interscope was doing its best to turn them into something more pop-friendly. Nevertheless they will self release their new album TEN$ION on their own label Zef Recordz. We have been following these two dudes from Toronto since the beginning; their remix of Blue Foundation’s “Eyes On Fire”. It was this remix that blasted them into mass popularity in the dance world, because the sound literally had no resemblance to any other electronic music out there. Zeds Dead has done a VIP of this track, and it will melt your face.
